Post Treatment Information

All patients are instructed to walk a great deal in the days following a procedure so that blood will circulate through healthy veins. Compressing the treated vessels by wearing prescription support hosiery is also recommended to maximize the treatment results. You may note a brownish discoloration following the course of the treatment. Normally, this discoloration will be absorbed within a few weeks. Tiny ulcerations at the injection site have also been noted. Although they are somewhat painful and slow to heal, they pose no health risk and are very rare.
