Relief from varicose and spider veins is just a click away thanks to a new Web site which was launched by Iowa Vein Center earlier this month. According to Iowa Vein Center Medical Director Dr. J. A. Olivencia, the site is designed to answer many of the questions patients have about varicose and spider veins. New features to the Iowa Vein Center Web site at www.IowaVeinCenter.com include: - A comprehensive review of leg vein disorders and the recommended treatment methods available at Iowa Vein Center.
- Before and after photos that demonstrate the efficacy of treatment procedures.
- Answers to the most common questions asked by patients.
- A revolving series of profiles of Iowa Vein Center patients which includes information about their lifestyle, medical problem and the results of the treatment.
- Timely tips for maintaining the health and vitality of legs. For example, the site currently features tips for people going on long trips this summer.
As an added convenience, prospective patients will be able to schedule an appointment online. Once scheduled, patients can download a PDF of the patient information form which they can complete prior to their appointment. Viewers to the site can also pose questions to the Iowa Vein Center medical staff.
