Tom's Story
As a construction worker, 28-year-old Tom couldn’t afford to be off his feet for too long. After five years of living with the discomfort of large, bulging varicose veins and unsightly dark areas on his lower legs, Tom decided to do something about the problem.
Tom described his leg pain, especially the heavy and tired feeling he constantly had at the end of each day, to his physician at Iowa Vein Center. Because of the severity of his problem, Tom was scheduled for an Endovenous Laser procedure.
Performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia, the laser treatment worked wonders on Tom’s varicosities. By the next day after treatment Tom was back on the job; a job he can continue to enjoy for years to come without the pain and discomfort of varicose veins.
